EVERYBODY at Southern Rep Branden Jacobs-Jenkins’ saucy adaptation of the 15th century morality play EVERYMAN follows our company of brave performers (cast each night by lottery) as they journey through life’s greatest mystery – the meaning of living.

Dames at Sea at the World War II Museum, BB’s Stage Door a tongue-in-cheek version of those flashy 1930s Busby Berkeley-style musicals in which the naive chorus girl arrives in New York on the bus, steps into a role on Broadway, and becomes a star. Running Oct 19-Nov 11.  $25-$65

LIFE AFTER DEATH and Unded Rock Opera. The Living Dead’ walk amongst us, and they are very unhappy. Society won’t accept them, the religious condemn their existence and they’re utterly ignored by cab drivers. In this cruel world, the recently deceased are faced with a unique choice: Stumble alone or unite and walk amongst us. Nov 7-10 at She Comes in Peace Salon. $10

FEAST presented by Polanco Jones Jr. An exhilarating, fully immersive, multi-sensory experience that celebrates Black culture and social customs through progressive exhibition design. The way we use food, hair, music, and dance to fellowship will be at the helm of FEAST’s interactive and performative intentions.

Backstage Bash: NOLA Project Fundraiser an exciting night of music, dance, theatre, food, and cocktails! Rajiv Joseph’s​ ​Gruesome Playground Injuries​​ is a raw and compelling​ ​exploration of human connection in the modern world. Over the course of 30 nonlinear years, lifelong friends Kayleen and Doug watch each other’s lives unfold and evolve through times of physical and emotional turmoil. After non-traditional casting, Kathleen and Doug’s relationship will be enriched as the artists explore the queerness in these characters.

In remembrance of the 20th anniversary of the murder of Matthew Shepard, The Storyville Collective and the Delgado Community College Theatre Department will be co-producing THE LARAMIE PROJECT.  The play draws upon hundreds of interviews conducted by members of the Tetonic Theatre Company with the citizens of Laramie, as well as published news reports and company members’ journal entries, to depict the events surrounding the murder of Matthew Shepard, an openly gay college student at the University of Wyoming.
